A Message to Prospective Partnership Members
As the Executive Director of The Hamilton Township Economic Development Corporation
known as “The Partnership,” I respectfully request you give serious consideration to joining our corporation. The Partnership Corporation
was founded by the Hamilton government years ago to provide an opportunity for the government to be more accessible to business, commerce
and industry in sharing and addressing the many situations that arise daily during the conducting of commercial operations.
The
Partnership affords input in a more productive manner to Hamilton’s government through weekly meetings with Mayor Yaede and her Chief
of Staff/Economic Development Director, Michael Angarone.
We are all excited about Hamilton and its multitude of opportunities The
Partnership views business as that entity which brings with it, services, ratables and employment essential to a community’s success.
To have in place a consistent connection, expedites the addressing of situations through the, sometimes, tedious governmental process.
At our monthly meetings we address concerns of the business community in an environment conducive to a more creative response and
quicker resolution. Please allow us the opportunity to assist in making business in Hamilton a more genuine experience for the entire
community.
Yours for Better Hamilton Business,
John K. Rafferty, Executive Director
The Hamilton Partnership is intended as a public-private partnership in the truest sense where local government and the business leadership can contribute their experience and work together in a single organization to carry out programs designed to aid needed industrial, commercial and economic development projects within Hamilton Township and facilitate overall business growth

Totally Necessary
Business is a necessity in any municipality if that municipality is to survive and flourish.
Healthy growth demands a list of commercial entities to provide services, employment,
merchandise and a litany of other elements that make up a thriving commercial
presence to accompany the town’s basic needs.
I see this year of 2013 as a busy and exciting one. The worn out, former Fair Grounds
Mall will be renovated into a much needed active operation that will include a wide range
of commercial operations. The land use process in any municipality is tedious.
In some cases there are many public hearings dealing with statute compliance.
Instances occur where unforeseen, complex interpretations must be addressed regarding the regulations that were originally adopted to protect our community in its
continuing growth.
